Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information TCL99 Australia (tcl-99-australia.com) collects from visitors, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it under Australian privacy law. It applies to this review site only. It does not apply to the casino operator we write about. Once you leave this site and register on the operator’s platform, your data is handled under that operator’s own privacy policy, which we do not control and cannot enforce.
Who we are
TCL99 Australia is an independent review publication covering the online casino marketed under the TCL99 brand. For the purposes of this policy, references to “we”, “us” and “this site” mean the operators of tcl-99-australia.com, contactable at [email protected].
What we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the site, understand how it is used, and respond to you if you contact us. Specifically:
- Analytics data: page views, session duration, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address (typically city or region level, not precise), device type and browser. This is collected in aggregate and is not used to build a profile of you as an individual.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored in your browser to remember preferences and support analytics. Full detail on individual cookies, their purpose and how long each one lasts is set out in our separate Cookie Policy.
- Contact form submissions: if you email us or use any contact form on the site, we collect whatever you provide, typically your email address, your name if you give one, and the content of your message.
- Technical and security logs: standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, user agent) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect financial account details, government identification numbers, or gambling account credentials. If you are ever asked for that kind of information on a page claiming to be TCL99 Australia, it is not us, and you should not provide it.
Legal basis and why we collect it
| What we collect | Why | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics (aggregate) | Understand which pages are useful, fix broken content, improve navigation | Legitimate business interest in operating and improving the site |
| Cookies (necessary) | Basic site function — remembering that a cookie banner was dismissed, for example | Necessary for the site to work as intended |
| Cookies (analytics/preference) | Measure traffic, remember display preferences | Consent, given through the cookie banner; withdrawable at any time |
| Contact form / email | Reply to your question, complaint or correction request | You initiated the contact; processing is necessary to respond to you |
| Server logs | Security, abuse prevention, diagnosing faults | Legitimate business interest in keeping the site secure and available |
How long we keep it
We keep data only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. Analytics data is typically retained in aggregated or pseudonymised form for up to 26 months before it is deleted or fully anonymised. Contact form and email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterward in case of follow-up, generally no more than 24 months, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal obligation. Raw server logs are typically cycled out within 90 days. Cookie lifetimes vary by cookie and are listed individually in our Cookie Policy.
Third parties who process data on our behalf
We use a small number of external service providers to run the site. These typically include an analytics provider (to measure traffic and page performance) and a content delivery network or hosting provider (to serve the site reliably and securely). These providers process data as part of delivering their service to us; they do not receive your data for their own independent marketing purposes. Some of these providers may process or store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we rely on the provider’s own compliance obligations and, where applicable, contractual safeguards, to protect your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with the TCL99 operator or any other gambling business.
Your rights under the Privacy Act 1988
As an Australian-facing publication, we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Depending on what we hold about you, you may have the right to:
| Right | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Access what we hold about you | Email [email protected] with your request; we will confirm what data exists and provide a copy where feasible |
| Correct inaccurate information | Tell us what is wrong and what it should say; we will update or annotate the record |
| Request deletion | Ask us to delete data we hold about you where we are not required to keep it for a legal reason (for example, an ongoing security investigation) |
| Withdraw cookie consent | Change your preference through the cookie banner or your browser settings at any time; see the Cookie Policy for browser-level steps |
| Complain | Contact us first; if unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au |
We aim to respond to any access, correction or deletion request within 30 days. Some requests cannot be fully met (for example, if data has already been anonymised and can no longer be tied to you, or if a security log needs to be retained briefly to investigate abuse), and where that applies, we will explain why.
How analytics data is actually used
To be specific about what “analytics” means in practice: we look at aggregated reports showing which pages get read, how long visitors stay before leaving, which links get clicked, and roughly which region traffic comes from. This tells us, for example, that a withdrawal-timing table is getting heavy traffic and should be kept current, or that a page is losing readers early and needs a clearer structure. We do not build individual visitor profiles, we do not attempt to identify a specific person from analytics data, and we do not link analytics data to anything you submit through a contact form unless you tell us you are the same person.
Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the data we hold, including restricting access to those who need it, using encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all traffic to and from the site, and using reputable, security-conscious hosting and analytics providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and if we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will act in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act, including notifying affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
What we do not do with your data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not share contact form submissions or email correspondence with the TCL99 operator, with any other gambling business, or with any marketing list. We do not use your data to send unsolicited marketing: if you email us, we reply to that email; we do not add you to a newsletter or promotional list without a separate, explicit opt-in. If a future version of this site introduces a newsletter or similar feature, this policy will be updated before that feature collects any data, and consent will be sought at the point of signup, not assumed from a prior visit.
Children
This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over, consistent with the minimum legal age for gambling in Australia. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, our service providers, or the law change. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; we encourage you to review this page periodically, particularly before submitting any personal information through the site.
For general context on the online casino this site reviews, including how the operator itself is assessed on transparency, see our TCL99 coverage. That page does not describe the operator’s data-handling practices, which are governed by TCL99’s own privacy terms, not ours.
Contact
For any question about this policy or about the personal information we hold, contact [email protected]. If your question is about a TCL99 account, deposit, withdrawal or verification document, that request needs to go directly to TCL99’s own support channel. We do not have access to operator account data.
